We have created two ways for you to manage the distribution of your scholarship to others, including your current job candidates, existing employees, or your social networks.

Share Versus Invite

Invite

EFFA provides two ways for you to expand the distribution of your scholarships. The first way is to "Invite" others to "Accept" your scholarship. You can do this from the actions button on any scholarship. When you select "Invite", you are offering a scholarship directly to someone whom you want to have accept that scholarship. By inviting someone to accept your scholarship, you are bypassing the steps involved in the scholarship application process, and moving directly to student acceptance. This option should ONLY be used for those individuals that you are interested in funding. An example would be a milestone-based scholarship that you wish to issue to a current job candidate.

Once you invite a candidate to accept the scholarship, the candidate will be notified through EFFA and, if they do not have an account, they will be prompted to create one. Once they complete the account creation process, they will be brought directly to your scholarship through their EFFA page where they can accept or reject the scholarship. You will be notified of this decision by the candidate through email.

This is great option for de-risking your candidate pool, as well as to fund employee development for existing employees in your organization.

Share

Select the "Share" option when you are interested in promoting your scholarship to others, or to invite an individual to "apply" for your scholarship. When you invite someone to apply for your scholarship they will receive an email notification through EFFA, and, if they have not yet created an account, they will be prompted to do so. Once they enter their account page on EFFA they will be brought directly to your scholarship, which will be in a pending status awaiting their application.

This is a great option for those individuals that you want to apply for your scholarship.
